Child
Mixed Media on Canvas
36" x 48"
Senior
The painting depicts the conflict of a small child who has been left alone. The child has framed this moment in life, marking the departure of her parents. Confusion, embarrassement, and defenselessness were imprinted in her memories. And somewhere in the space, the child's toys remain.
Stay with Me
Mixed Media on Paper
26" x 20"
Senior
I created Stay with Me to capture the intensity of human connection—whether it’s love, protection, or something more complicated. The contrast between the detailed hands, the dark background, and the glowing gold makes people stop and wonder—are they holding on or letting go.
Clown
Charcoal and Pastel on Paper
11" x 14"
Senior
I created Clown to evoke a sense of mystery and unease, using bold contrasts of black and white to enhance the intensity of the figure’s gaze. The smeared makeup and haunting expression challenge viewers to question whether the character is performing, suffering, or perhaps both.
Tranquility
Mixed Media on Canvas
16" x 12"
Sophmore
I created Tranquility to capture a feeling of elegance and peace, blending soft colors with bold gold details. The mysterious expression, flowing patterns, and delicate dove invite people to wonder—what is she thinking, and what story does she hold?
Star Boy
Colored Pencil and Gold Leaf on Paper
12" x 9"
Sophmore
I created Star Boy using only shades of blue and gold to make the emotion in the portrait stand out even more. The intense gaze and contrast between the deep blue and shining gold cross make people stop and wonder—what is he thinking, and what story does he have to tell?
The Forest, Arson, and Bystander
Oil on Panel
11" x 24"
Senior
The Forest, Arson, and Bystander portrays a haunting scene of fire engulfing a forest as a lone figure watches. The contrast between fiery tones and shadowy trees creates tension—leaving viewers to wonder if the figure is a witness, a savior, or the cause of destruction.
Hour Glass
Digital Composition on Paper
13" x 9"
Junior
Inspired by dystopian novels like Brave New World, this piece envisions a tech-industrial future where beauty is shaped by bioengineering and advanced technology.
