Every April, BRG turns the spotlight towards the young artists working in our community. You’re invited to a special First Wednesday Opening Reception as we unveil this year’s honorees for the REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCE Juried High School Exhibition, sponsored by Cordell & Ava Haymon.

In addition to enjoying more than 50 works from area students, you’ll see more than $1,000 in prizes awarded and hear the announcement of semi-finalists for the Paul A. Dufour & Julia Dufour Richardson Scholarship.

As always, First Wednesdays at BRG are free for everyone and open to all. Attendees will enjoy complimentary refreshments and live music, in addition to the exceptional talents of high school student artists from across East Baton Rouge Parish.
