Discussing Gun Violence

  • Baton Rouge Gallery 1515 Dalrymple Drive Baton Rouge, LA, 70808 United States (map)

Join us on Sunday, August 21 (4pm) for a special Sundays@4 presentation, in conjunction with BRG’s new exhibition, Cloudburst: The Work of Matt Kenyon.

Inspired by Kenyon’s piece, Alternative Rule, which addresses the deaths of children due to gun violence, this discussion will look at the state of gun violence and mass shootings both locally and nationally. The discussion will include the findings of a Southern University professor’s study on mass shootings as well as perspectives from local nonprofit leaders and an EBR Parish school board member.

This event, moderated by The Advocate’s Charles Lussier, is free and open to the public. Scroll down to learn more about our speakers.
