kathleen lemoine
Kathleen Lemoine's newest body of work has built upon her investigation of early contemporary landscapes to become even more simplified- turning the natural world into pure geometry. As she explains, "My new work is all about color and using shape to bring that color to life."
Lemoine has exhibited her work regionally and nationally. Residencies and conferences brought her to North Adams and Provincetown, Massachusetts and Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Honors include a National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship as well as grants from the Louisiana Division of the Arts.
