Van Wade-Day's work tends to vary from medium to medium depending on what stimulates her and seems appropriate to her vision at the time. Her subject fluctuates between landscape and fantasy.

Wade-Day's current work is based on the artist's personal astrology. The images are loose conglomerations of the various means used to illustrate star clusters and the images used to make them into recognizable patterns. The paintings range from sections of an imaginary sky to monotype, gel prints on paper.

Van Wade-Day has been living and working in Baton Rouge since 1976. She has exhibited all over the United States from Detroit to Nashville to Baton Rouge.

This exhibition is presented alongside the latest works from Leslie Friedman, Kathleen Lemoine, and Craig McCullen. All works from these artists are on view, free of charge, during regular gallery hours (12 - 6 p.m., Tue - Sun) from February 6 - 29, 2024.
